Shaldon

Another sunny day.
We had a drive out to the beautiful fishing village of Shaldon in the morning. We wandered through its narrow streets admiring the pretty houses, and reminiscing of the time my dad had been performing with the Morris dancers here one summer evening about 33 years ago.

We drove back to mums for lunch, then took mum and her friend Josie over to our holiday apartment for a cup of tea and to see the lake - and the herons of course.

Dennis and I had dinner at the local Indian restaurant in Bovey in the evening.
