AOG Day 13

“Meet our Champion of the Sport Climbing Event held earlier this morning, Melanoplus Grasshopper, or Mel, if that’s easier. This gold medal performer scaled the vertical glass wall with such grace and ease. The AOG has never witnessed anything like it before! This handcrafted 90 degree wall stands 203.2 centimeters by 91.44 centimeters, or for my American friends tuning in, that’s 80 inches by 36 inches. Mel ascended this breathtaking height without use of any hand or foot holds. No safety line either. It’s remarkable there were no injuries reported today. This wall tested every competitor’s skill, strength and perseverance. Heck, I’ll throw in another one, courage! These athletes are known more for their catapulting ability, but that would be too easy for them. This event showcased their versatility plus their climbing speed. Mel’s gold medal performance far outpaced all of his competitors, clocking in a mere 2 hours, 32 minutes, 18 seconds. Mel is a symbol of Good Luck all over the world. Like Mel, take a leap of faith. You’ll only succeed if you try. Medals are never won by quitters.
