You wouldn’t, from this view, assume that the photo was taken in deepest Leith but was taken at the north east corner of Leith Links. The fencing is not to protect the statue, though I’ve highlighted a paragraph in the extra image that would not have been added pre-BLM, it is there to allow the new grasses to grow.

He seems an interesting chap though, but what is with the medical profession and golf?
