A dull day

Today the weather was such a contrast to the previous week. The blip is a photo of the Diana fountain in Bushy Park at about 8.15am. The temperature was under 20c and it was very overcast and dismal after the bright sunshine we have been enjoying. So much algae has grown on all the ponds in the last few weeks due to the high temperature and bright sunlight. The geese seem to have bred well this year, lots of Canada geese and also Egyptian geese as well as many many coots.

Many of the trees are shedding their leaves already, particularly the horse chestnuts.
