Catching up with old friends

Spent the morning baking for the arrival of P & M this afternoon for a garden visit with coffee and cake.  It was lovely to catch-up and the sunshine appeared just as their car pulled up making it pleasant for sitting out.   

After they left, I decided I needed a short walk so I headed for our regular morning meander along the burn.  The light was lovely making everything look completely different.  Even this uninspiring bridge was looking it's best with the late afternoon sun on the wild flowers surrounding it
