The Duke of Gloucester - Penrith

A popular watering hole. The original building based on a pele tower??? dates back to 1470 when Penrith castle was a newbuild. The Duke of Gloucester was a house of Richard the third who was then known as The Duke of Gloucester. The Duke of Gloucester pub used to be known as Dockray Hall - back in the old days. Rumour has it that there is a 'secret tunnel' that goes from the pub up to the castle. I reckon Bob the dog is lying down on it. (Dogs know stuff!).

Makes a change from windows.

Finally for those of you that are fans of the League of Gentlemen (Royston Vasey)
'Who would win - Richard i i i or predator?
