Admiring the view

A wee trip to Speyside to celebrate my birthday (tomorrow). Had a long walk from Inverdruie to Loch an Eilan and then, this evening, went for a lovely meal at The Rowan Tree at Alvie. The food was great but the experience was somewhat tainted by the baby on the next table (about 5 months) who every so often would let out an ear shattering screech - and I am not exaggerating, we're talking aircraft coming in to land kind of decibels. In the end we had to flee to the garden to have dessert and coffee.
