A family visit

Today we went to visit F's eldest daughter and family near Leominster. It is her birthday next week so we made an early visit to catch them all on a day when they weren't working.  They have a lovely big garden and had erected two marquees with seating for us all to sit socially distanced.

This is H, one of F's twin granddaughters. Her sister has got the grades that she needs for uni (one of the lucky ones under the shambolic system this year) but H prefers to go down the catering route. She has been working at a local care home all through lockdown so we have great admiration for her.

We had a lovely meal outside when the heavens opened and there was a torrential rainstorm. We were glad of those marquees!
