off for a drive

I tried to emulate mambo but realized I forgot to have children and grandchildren so I had to go off without them. I drove to Shenandoah with Samuel. Next time I think I'll go without him so I can go hiking. Of course then I'll miss him and he'll miss me. I'm envisioning car camping there, looking at the stars through the roof. 
 
Maybe I'll take him but leave him in the car while I hike. The car has a "dog mode" which keeps the climate stable. He and my last dog preferred to come along on trips even if they had to stay in the car to being left home.
