A Trip To The Botanic Gardens.

A nice trip out to the Botanic Gardens today.  A bit chilly, but nice in the sun.

We had a lovely wander around, everything is looking lovely at the moment.

The girls had a good scoot around.  A play in the playground plus a picnic.

We spotted lots of birds and some lovely flowers.

The cygnets with the black swans were a treat.  The lake unfortunately is home to a lot of eels, and they tend to eat a lot of the smaller birds.  I suspect there may have been more than 3 cygnets.

The lakes looked very green with a kind of algae, which was made up of tiny leaves.  The swans were enjoying eating it though.

After a couple of hours we came home, stopping for ice cream on the way.

Of course, my day wouldn't be complete without a trip to Bunnings.  Not just once but three times!!!  And in two different locations.

Hopefully tomorrow, I wont have to go.

(Apart from the lump on my head and a few bruises, I seem to be alright after yesterdays fall).
