Paul's Paints

These are just some of Paul Larson's paints. He's a painter. A very good painter. He also happens to be a musician.

We met at an 'open studios' event last November. I noticed guitars in some of Paul's paintings and decided to pluck up the courage to talk to him. Since then we have become good friends and have enjoyed collaborating on a few projects.

Today, Paul was preparing for the launch of his exhibition proper given the Northeast blizzard took care of any people coming to visit the Loft Arts Gallery over the weekend. While Paul was painting, I was trying out the acoustics You and Me Both.

It's an amazing space and Paul's exhibition looks right at home. The Loft Arts Association has been around for 35 years and seeks to provide artists with a supportive environment, opportunities to exhibit their work, and networking opportunities and to reach out to the community at large with education and artistic expression.
