Faffing About!

I cut out the 2nd dress from the same sewing pattern yesterday and have nearly finished it. It would have been finished by now if I hadn't:

Done the laundry, hung it out, brought it back in, folded it and put it all away.
Helped give smelly Bella a shower.
Cleaned the bathroom after showering Bella as she shook herself all over the place.
Had lunch.
Sorted out the broad bean plants and harvested some for Bob.
Picked a bunch of sweet peas to keep them flowering.
Chatted to next door but one neighbour over the fences.
Decided to make patch pockets for the dress and sew them on.
Had dinner.
Taken Bella for her evening walk.

That's my excuse - I have done a fair bit of faffing about too.

The weather has been lovely today but now it is pouring down.

The dress will be finished tonight!
