St Pancras Piano

Every time I visit St Pancras Station I hope there will be someone there playing the piano. Yesterday there was; a young man in a wooly hat played some jazz. I stood and listened for a few minutes. It was a moment of rest.

I wonder how the piano came to be there?

To me it seems like the loveliest object in London.
