Lots of Knots

I took the dogs for a long walk in the drizzle on Seasalter beach this morning. The cloud cover was complete so the light was bad but there were knots, oystercatchers, sandpipers and gulls. Lapwings were there too but not close enough for a decent blip.

I like the ways these two birds seem to be in harmony.
