Birthday Dinner

After a well-paced day, we met up with friend Jessica at the other end of town, at a venue chosen by her. Toro Toro at Grosvenor House, a hotel which has been there since the Marina first started (around 2005), but it was my first time ever to visit.

The restaurant is a South American steak house. It also happened to be ladies night. We had a lovely evening, chatting away and enjoying the food and drink. We normally don't get to celebrate Jessica's birthday in August as often both parties are out of Dubai. This year, we all opted to stay put, so it was great to be able to do this. Sadly, our friend Farzan wasn't able to join us.

We were home by midnight but I was too full of food to contemplate blipping! ;)
