a dramatic shift

i spent the winter in berlin. i came home to chicago, still in winter. i went to texas for 2 weeks and enjoyed SUMMER weather. sunny skies and 85 degrees.

then i returned to chicago today. bitter surprise. seriously, a snow storm? SERIOUSLY!?

i consequently spent the day snuggled up in bed.

this photo was taken in the austin airport. it actually wasnt posed. i was sitting there drinking coffee with my legs propped up on my suitcase, camera in hand, taking photos of passersby. and then decided to take this shot. i think it could go either way, it could be cool or really stupid. i dont really care. i like it, and i like that it wasnt posed.
