The Cat and I

Early lunch at home then drove to M’s bakery in Pokesdown to collect a sourdough baguette bread ordered online last night. Found them closed with note on door ‘on holiday till 25/8’.  


Returned to car.  This cute affectionate tiny kitten miaowed and followed us for a few yards. Was worried it was homeless, but was reassured by a neighbouring business, it had a home.


Was muggy, so drove and parked in Southbourne  Walked up and down, bought a white bread and Dorset Apple Cake for Mr B.  Sat at at a couple of eaterie terraces, but they advised we had to go inside to order.  How daft.  So drove home and shared an Aspall. 

The mugginess got to me. Couldn’t keep my eyes open. Fell asleep on balcony. May go and watch TV in bed. Lovely, bright and sunny out now
