Red Admirable

Apparently, this was it's original name. Its Latin name, Vanessa Atalanta, is also very pretty. I always know summer is coming to an end when these butterflies arrive. They are mostly migrants from central Europe. Lots of small coppers still on the wing and a cheeky squirrel in extras.
