A dusting of snow at Harlaw reservoir

Out for a walk this morning with Paula. The weather was quite snowy/sleety and very cold. I was surprised to see that the reservoir water level was really low, but it seems to be deliberate since the adjoining Threipmuir reservoir was full to the brim.
While checking out Threipmuir I managed to slip and get my jacket and jeans and me covered in mud.
Have spent the afternoon ordering some waterproof trousers, thermal underwear and a pair of photographers gloves. So some lessons were learnt!
