The Ticket Office

Spotted this plaque in Kendal. It reminded me of last year's trip down the Lancaster Canal after the consultant told me to rehab by walking on the flat until the bone, he had cracked during the operation, healed. I started at Canal Head in Kendal on 4 Jan 2019 and after many short trips, on  crutches, I got to Lancaster on 22 Feb 2019.  I've been meaning to go back to Canal Head and look for more evidence of the old canal which is one reason why I parked here today. This is the old ticket office . The plaque is in extras if you want to read it.
