Looking down from the top of Castleton Rigg

I’ve been out with my sketchbook this afternoon, not really sketching but instead having fun with colour inspired by the landscape.  It’s been a beautiful day with clear blue skies this morning.  Unfortunately Ann is not well, with a gastroenteritis type of sickness and we’re not quite sure where she might have picked it up as we’ve been eating the same things.  I’m hoping that I don’t get it too!
