Posh Pots

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel we had a wander around the market in Oundle - all 10 stalls of it ( there will be two new ones next week apparently).

We managed to book a slot at Belton House (an NT place near Grantham) and spent the afternoon there walking around the perimeter of the park - which was great as it was away from the crowds. Paused briefly to watch the herds of deer wandering around.

Had a cup of tea and an ice cream to round off the visit. Spotted this view of the chimney pots on the roof of the house. A posh addition to my collection of chimney pots.

Added extras of the wonderful clock tower, half a pine tree and a dilapidated old roller - which was presumably used to flatten the polo field after matches :-)
