Osborne in the Rain
I have an ongoing project to document Osborne House gardens and grounds in all seasons and weather conditions so today was ideal for some shots in the pouring rain. So with the aid of a large umbrella and wellingtons I paddled round the already flooded footpaths along with some very wet Japanese visitors.
This is the view to the side of the house along John Brown's Walk.
The rain was coming down in stair rods and can be seen when viewed large. Surprisingly there are a number of plants already in bloom including dafodills and rhododendrons but the Winter weather continues to be problematical for the gardeners.
