The Red Planet
Although there was much to do at home, not the least catching up with blips, with sunshine and a good forecast proving too much of a temptation I headed out for another day at yesterday's beach.
I had noticed on Sunday that the rough seas of recent weeks had uncovered a new layer of beautifully textured rock with unlimited potential for abstract images.
One of the joys of retirement is that as opposed to yesterday the beach was clear of families and dog walkers and I had the area almost to myself.
Having made many images to add to the 'Fractals' series it was difficult to chose one to blip but liked this one which to me resembled an aerial view of the deserts of Mars or Arizona.
