Our first visit today to the celebrated restaurant - Mr Pook's Kitchen  - in Castle Douglas.

Like everywhere else in the catering business, Covid19 has meant that they have had to come up with inventive ways of keeping things up and running.  And they have succeeded magnificently.  Lunch today was delicious from the first mouthful to the last - with a menu that was a bit different from their pre-Covid fare.

We were in the company of friends John and Lesley - and it was the perfect place to help celebrate John's birthday today ………………...
