Pure Gold

What shocking weather this morning when I was out delivering.
The rain would appear from nowhere, without any warning or build-up and arrive like a bucket of water being thrown at you..... and then it would stop with the same rapidity.

Luckily it wasn't like that after lunch when the monsters arrived and we took them to The Colinton Tunnel.
I spent some time talking to the main artist Chris Rutterford who pointed out all sorts of interesting details - and was able to tell stories about connections between real people and events and bits of the paintings (like his dog appearing in several places and one of the painters being very nervous when picking brambles (featured in on of the paintings) because where she comes from there was every chance of coming across a bear also looking for brambles.
When up his tower adding details with his tools of the trade (note the lack of nozzles - they are taken off to prevent them blocking with drying paint and only put on when being used) he is much safer than us from the damned cyclists who are constantly thrashing through the without paying heed to the pedestrians.
