we will succeed

Woke up today and had no other plans, well any i did have were put on hold charlie comes first. he is like a baby needs more attention and handling and making sure he has the right food and isnt bored. This morning i prepared myself and i used a skewer, chopped some apple and placed it on the end, poked it in the cage and he ate it. this time i did it again with cage door open and hand in cage too he ate it again i had won ! so i turned the skewer round and used the other side to pat him and stroke him still talking to him lots and lots. and he seemed to enjoy it. Even making little noises with his beak. we did go out and spend a small fortune on buying more toys for his cage. we bought him more food, more wooden chips for bottom of cage, basket ball hoop, wooden toy, a new mirror and set of hanging balls. lets see how we progress tomorrow.
