WIth his birthday usually falling during the October half-term or October week it usually ends up not being at home. The semblance of choice offered to him was to pick something from those available in the immediate environment for doing specifically on his birthday, so today was the chocolate-making factory place and associated indoor soft play tube thing and associated outside playpark when it had stopped pissing it down. We declined to pay an additional exorbitant fee to pick a pumpkin off the ground in the adjacent field and snuck some of our own food out rather than pay for horrible-smelling chip and burger things.
