Pastime for a dreich day

Who would believe that a week ago we were basking in glorious sunshine? Today it was grey and showery (perfect midge weather) and to cap it all, it is nearly dark at 9.00pm!
I spent the day sorting out paper work and tidying cupboards, jobs that have been neglected while we had lovely weather to tempt me out into the garden.
N spent a bit of time on a hobby revived from his younger days: building a model aeroplane. One of our neighbours gave him a gift of a model kit during lockdown and it has given him an alternative way of occupying his time on a wet day. The intricate detail of this kit is amazing, right down to the paintwork in the cockpit.
