Neist Point Lighthouse

Yet another Robert Stevenson lighthouse, this time on the other side of the country, the man was prolific.
This was our morning expedition. I loved the basalt rocks around the lighthouse. They reminded me of Staffa or supposedly Giants Causeway. Much less of a midge problem today as it was brighter and windier. After lunch at Cafe Lephin, we drove to Coral Beach; a white beach made not of sand or coral but of fossilised and sun-bleached algae. It really did have the wow factor!
