Eilean Donan Castle

Birthday girl today. Up early and off with Mr P to Skye for a week. Finally made it to Eilean Donan Castle and Portree. Both been on my wish list for years! Stopped off for lunch in Laggan and then had fish and chips for tea in Portree Harbour. Mix of cloud, rain and occasional glimpses of sunshine. Now in our cottage overlooking the Sound of Raasay which would be idyllic if we weren’t being attacked by swarms of midges every time we venture out! Thank goodness for those midge net hats that I ridiculed!
