The plug had been pulled

That’s what it looked like at the reservoir today. We parked up at one end and it was noticeable straight away that the levels were well down and as we walked up stream at the other end the river was very low. We have done this walk many times and never seen it this low.
Drizzle on our walk before breakfast and decided to go out again and take lunch as the forecast was for rain later, we got very wet. Managed to eat lunch and have coffee standing between showers and the last mile was dry so we dried off before we got back to the car.
New shower curtain needed taking up, so that job was done when we got back and then cooked dinner, aubergine tomato and coconut bake.
There seems to be so many more people out walking now.
