Before And, Hopefully, After, London

It was my birthday on Saturday and I planned to do a blip to celebrate. Unfortunately, the day itself was a bit crap (apart from a meal out in the evening) and so I really didn't feel like taking any shots. Let's just say there was some unkindness and thoughtlessness going on and so I felt a bit low. Frankly, I wanted the day to end so I could just get back to a normal day, which was good,  as it was the weekly food shop on Sunday. Nothing like getting back into the groove!
I spotted today's shot on my lunchtime walk and thought I'd go for a portrait rather than landscape shot as I do it so rarely.
