Clatto Reservoir

A nice sunny day

A restful morning after a busy weekend. In the afternoon I went for a walk along a road section of the Green Circular Cycle Route round Dundee. This took me from near the Trottick Ponds up to Clatto Park and back, a distance of 5.2 miles. The Photo shows the Reservoir and in the background is Craigowl, our highest hill to the north of Dundee.

This completes over 85% of the full route and leaves the last section down through Camperdown Park to the Riverside. I have done this in stages over the past 6 months, a bit like fitting in different edge pieces of a Jigsaw. The total distance is 26 miles and as you will have gathered, it follows the Dichty on the northern section.

In the evening I am looking forward to seeing Andy Murray playing in the Cincinatti Tennis Open. It is great to see him in action again.
