The Mail Man

...arrived fairly late this afternoon, I was beginning to think he wasn’t coming! A double exposure of the van and the mail.

Tonight I found out that the Red Arrows were due to fly past again enroute to Edinburgh...I had about 20 minutes to organise myself but did manage to check the battery before leaving the house. First extra is as they turned inland about 8 miles north of us over North Berwick Law to do a flypast over Haddington...second extra is the smoke trails over Edinburgh after their flypast with the Mossmorran chemical plant in Fife smoking behind!

It’s been a lovely evening after a wet and murky start this morning...the calm before the storm tomorrow I think! Most of the day has been spent domestic goddessing...ironed all eldest’s t-shirts (well the front of them!), about 3 dozen - over a third of which I wouldn’t use as rags, another dozen are largely unworn as they aren’t ‘cool’...about 8 ended up in his drawers the rest he’s going to have to sift through again!!
