DULCIMER

This Appalachian dulcimer is getting a new fingerboard. The traditional one has only 7 frets per octave which is a bit limiting if you want to play in more than one key.

The owner wants 12 frets per octave which is much more flexible. So be it!

I watched Joni Mitchel play this instrument in the New Victoria Theatre, London in 1974 - it was sublime. The lady I was with introduced me to Roger Daltrey, & Robert Plant  who turned out to be true gents.
