Leaning

Last night this tree was upright.
The heavy rain and strong winds overnight, combined with an unusual amount of weight from fruit, has partially uprooted one of the apple trees. I’m not sure we can save the tree but we can certainly save the fruit! It’s going to be a busy weekend making chutney, cider, jam, pies, cakes... But first we’ve got to find a way to store all the apples. There’s a lot of them!
