Coastal walk

We headed along the Moray coastal trail this morning from Findochty to Strathlene where we had a table booked at Bijou by the Sea for lunch.  As the weather gradually brightened coats and scarves were discarded much to our amazement.   As we approached Strathlene we heard the unmistakable sound of seals out in the bay.  We could see quite a large colony on some rocks not far from the shore, but sadly just a little too far for the zoom lense to cope.  

Lunch was Cullen Skink and then carrot cake with our coffee.  Excellent.

Then on the way back we took the path closer to the rocks where the powerful waves were quite dramatic,
