Poppy Patch

It is so cold and damp here today (yesterday was worse) that it feels as if autumn has arrived early. We have a really nice patch of poppies that have grown since we chopped back our weeping hollies. I guess they grew because the ground was disturbed when we took all the weeds out that had been hidden by the long weeping branches.
