Pew The Elop
It's International Dog Day so I've included an image of Ollie dog with the stick she chose to take on our walk this morning. We spotted Woody on the telegraph pole by the lake. This got me thinking of pu the elop, a backslang saying that my London greengrocer MiL used. I think up the pole meant crazy to her but I've read that it also means pregnant.
After taking MrQ for his eye injection to combat ARMD Ollie and I met my daughter and Frankie dog for a walk along the Stort Navigation. We spotted the Silkie chicken in a garden on the way back. Afterwards we enjoyed a soft drink at the pub where my grandson is working behind the bar.
PS Rather belatedly I have decided to point out that my title should have read pu the elop.
