Evening stroll
A friend was telling me that tomorrow she is going to drive into Glasgow.
Nothing unusual in that. It’s only about 40 minutes, a straight run down the motorway.
“It’s a challenge,” she blurted out. “ I’ve got to do it before I lack the confidence.”
We both agreed that this is an unexpected side effect of the pandemic: the psychological lack of confidence in driving anything more than the short distances around our home.
