Visors or masks?

 
Today I was given a face visor.
 But I have yet to go out wearing it.
 
Are they easier to wear than a mask? And are they as effective?
 
Yes,  the visor is certainly more comfortable than a mask, which I find claustrophobic.
 
But do they work? The scientific evidence is mixed –while they protect you from other people’s virus they do not stop you from spreading it.
