Blazing
Clear skies and blazing hot sun after a thunderous night which at least gave us some rain at last. Another attempt at a subject against the light. I am constantly amazed by the latitude offered by the raw file and the amount of recovery available. And the sensor in my camera is quite old now technologically.
I think I got close to how the leaves looked in reality. I think they were probably more translucent and showing more yellow light. Possibly I could have got more detail with two exposures, but it was a little windy.
I only have one prime lens, which is a macro. I don't use it often because I prefer the flexibility of zooms, but I really should make the effort. Extras show close up details of leaves that is nearer to how they looked to my eye, and detail of bark, which I got intrigued by.
