Exploring

For me, photography has been an escape, solitary, dedicated time, a serious pursuit (as an amateur can be), although playful and enjoyable. Today however, in company, handheld, wandering, snatched glances, exploring as we went, surprises, finds, views and details.

What seems interesting to the eye though, does not always make a good image. Beautiful views, sunshine, rocks and bright green seaweed, waves gently lapping, gulls squawking.

It's not the most perfect arrangement of pebbles in a rock pool, but I liked the sea shells dotted around which added a contrast of size. I would have preferred one more on the right side for balance.
