Ups and downs

Busy morning jumping between meetings then an afternoon of disagreements and decision making that was restrained but tumultuous if that's possible
Took my frustration out on a spot of cleaning and busying myself for V to come round for supper and chat. We demolished the steak pie and cherry clafoutis then I dropped her back home and had a look at her new garden landscaping. She's done a brilliant job and it looks stunning and somehow so much bigger. On one part of the fence she'd hung these plant pots with bright flowers which broke up the otherwise cool calm palette of blues and greys. 
Home and descended into a bit of a glum
