Abandoned

Some good sorting and organising time this morning then an interesting if concerning conversation with fellow council members of another organisation, before meeting up with L and heading into the office to check out the safety arrangements for one way systems round the building, screens etc etc. So strange to be back in there, even if only briefly. Without my plants in there and because I'd left a window a little ajar the place looked a bit of a mess - a shell of it's normal appearance. L excited to see her new office (she was appointed and has been working remotely so never seen the place, or me in 3-D!). We followed up with a coffee and a good chat....powering through heaps of stuff that needs to be done. Good session though, and when I got home I carried on working on lots of bitty things before a long conversation with Mt about their house move and his new job, then C about all the current issues at work,  then a series of frantic texts with others before settling down to watch Brit Bennett at the Book Festival....our current book club book
