New lemons - new life
Our two potted lemon trees lived indoors in the winter but then stopped flowering, so were put outside to survive the winter by themselves.
Not neglected though, I followed the advice of another Blip journal and chopped up banana skins and dug them into the soil, plus regular feeding.
Now a few years later, one tree has produced ONE flower and the other about FIFTY flowers.
Here we see a small lemon flanked by an open flower and another bud.
I will have to cull some lemons to avoid over taxing the small tree.
