The Rathaus, Basel, Switzerland.

A very cold day as this decorative water spout on the Rathaus (Town Hall) clearly shows. We walked the old city today - it took about 6 hours. We were fortified by a pasta lunch and, later in the afternoon, hot chocolate. We then warmed up in the University Botanic Gardens Tropical House, unfortunately this steamed up all our lenses so no images available! A most enjoyable day, off to the Alps tomorrow.
