Should have known better!

Exactly a year ago we were in Switzerland and ascending the Jungfrau and Schilthorn, it was freezing of course but we went fully equipped. Today we ascended Mount Teide on Tenerife. It was freezing but we went in shorts and tea shirts! Our fellow mountaineers were highly amused at the eccentric English couple. We did not stay long at the summit. But it was worth it as the volcanic scenery in the national park is truly awesome.
