Getting Stuck In

This bee was hard at work in the garden this morning while we were hard at work getting food and the garden prepared for a BBQ with our friends Tony & Rosie.

They very kindly provided the desserts and we spent a happy few hours chatting over dinner and being glad of the heat from a log fire in the chiminea.

After they left we enjoyed a walk on Street Hill with Chris before settling down to watch the film "Scully", which we thoroughly enjoyed, even if it did make us quite glad that we're not likely to get on a plane for a while.

While this was going on, Yeovil were managing to lose their first pre-season friendly comfortably to a team two or three leagues below us. Apart from the result not being surprising as the players have only been back in training for a few days, Chris & I were quite pleased: it's never a good sign if we play too well pre-season!
